There are many ways to help make FIRST programs possible across Texas—from supporting regional coordination to providing a venue, directing an event, or volunteering for a single day. Whether you have years of experience with FIRST or are looking for a new way to support students in your community, see below for the different ways you can be engaged.

Volunteer at an Event

Event volunteers bring FIRST programs to life. Opportunities range from judging, refereeing, and robot inspection to team check-in, queuing, field reset, and event support. No STEM background needed and training is provided! Click below to explore more.

Help Host or Direct an Event

Local events are made possible through partnerships with schools, colleges, organizations, and community leaders.

We are looking for Venue Hosts who can provide space for an event and Event Directors who can organize and lead an event.

Join the Program Team

We have openings for paid positions to support FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Tech Challenge program delivery across the state. This role will coordinate regional events, maintain community relationships, and support volunteers and event leaders.
