FLL Challenge Game Set Building & Storage

Materials Needed for Storage

For each FLL-Challenge set, here is what we recommend:

• 1 Banker Box with lid to store the mission models - Amazon Link

• 15 Ziploc Gallon Storage Bags (one mission model per bag) - Amazon Link

• 15 Printer Labels (3-1/3 × 4) for each storage bag - Amazon Link

• 20 Color Dots to match the bags to the banker boxes - Amazon Link

• 1 Poster Tube XL to fit mats that are 45 inches long - Amazon Link

For each FLL Qualifier, we generally plan for 6 game sets. These same supplies for 6 game sets equals:

• 6 Banker Boxes with lids to store the mission models - Amazon Link

• 78 Ziploc Gallon Storage Bags (generally one mission model per bag) - Amazon Link

• 78 Printer Labels (3-1/3 × 4) for each storage bag - Amazon Link

• 90 Color Dots (1400 pcs) to match the bags to the banker boxes (ideally 6 different colors - 1 color per set) - Amazon Link

• 2 Poster Tubes XL to fit 3 - 4 mats per tube that are 45 inches long - Amazon Link

Prep for Building Mission Sets

1. Add a label to each bag that says the mission model number, a picture of the model, and QR code for building instructions. Click here to print the labels. These fit on 3 1/3 × 4 inch labels linked below.

2. Add the same color dot to all bags so they stay together as a set.

3. Add the color dot to the banker boxes used for the set of mission models so they can all go back into the same box.

4. You can also sort all the LEGO element bags into the corresponding mission bag.

Building Mission Models

1. Find the appropriate building instructions for the mission models: BIOGLOW Season Materials | FIRST LEGO League

2. We strongly recommend opening one set of bags at a time as prompted in the instructions so elements are not mixed up.

3. Have fun!

Storage of Field Mats

Each mat is 45 inches wide × 92–93 inches long. They can be stored in a poster tube that is at least 45 inches long. Gently roll up 3 - 4 mats and place into the tube.
